The XK60 Diamond celebrations have been announced - and the line up seems stunning! The 3 day event to celebrate 60 years of the original XK120 being introduced (the worlds fastest production car at launch in 1948) is set to feature the largest ever gathering of XK120's, 140's and 150's ever seen, with over 600 expected to be arriving at the historic Goodwood circuit, along with a plethora of other exciting events.

The event is being held over the weekend of the 8th - 10th August 2008, at both Goodwood and Cowdray Park circuit which is nearby, and the home of Viscount Cowdray.

Events are being organised by the Jaguar XK Club along with the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, and include the Bonhams auction of classic Jaguars and Jaguar automobilia, guest appearances by Stirling Moss (pictured above) with whom you can win the chance of a lap of the goodwood circuit, and Murray Walker. Over the weekend there will also be competitions, parades, exhibitions, live music, hospitality and to top it off, the XK60 Diamond Ball.

XK Enthusiasts from all over the world are expected to be in attendance, and in some cases bringing their rare and exotic XK machinery with them especially for the ceebrations. If you have ever had an interest in Classic Jaguars - this is the event for you.
